Nia Dance Jam & Fundraiser a Huge Success

The Nia Dance Jam & Fundraiser held Saturday, May 29th 2010 at the YMCA on Argyle Street was a huge success! Thank you to the nearly 50 participants who came out to experience Nia and support Hopewell. Tremendous fun was had by all and over $1000 was raised!

A great big thank you to Dianne King, Steffi Retzlaff, Sandra Collins and the many other volunteers who helped in the organizing of the event.

What is Nia?

Nia is an exhilarating movement and lifestyle practice. As the first cardio workout to combine martial arts, dance, and healing arts, Nia has fundamentally changed lives with its evolutionary approach to fitness and self-healing in a body.

Choose a Positive Thought!

LULULEMON SUPPORTS HOPEWELL

Thank you to the Lululemon Rideau Store for supporting Hopewell throughout the month of February! Lululemon created a window display with the theme "Choose a Positive Thought!" The display encouraged individuals to think positively about their bodies. In addition, Hopewell's website was displayed across the bottom of one of the windows in large letters. With nearly 400,000 individuals visiting the mall weekly, the display certainly helped us to spread the word about Hopewell!
