How you can help Hopewell
We need your help to continue to provide support and services. Hopewell receives no ongoing government funding. You can help us reach out to people in our community who need support by becoming involved and/or making a donation. Those in Eastern Ontario struggling with eating disorders, their families, and friends will benefit greatly from your support. With your help, Hopewell will be better able to provide and expand our services. Your cheque, online donation, or United Way designation make possible our support groups, expressive arts and prevention programs, educational resources and support line. Please send your cheque to:

Why do people help Hopewell?
In our recent direct mail campaign, donors provided feedback on why they are supporting Hopewell. Please help us help those affected by eating disorders too!
“As someone who struggles with food issues, I appreciate the opportunity to help others on a journey to help themselves. It is an ongoing challenge. It is an especially difficult this time of year”.
“I have personal experience with the Centre and with eating disorders. I think your work is essential and I hope these funds will help you continue to provide your essential services”.
"The opportunity to talk to other parents who have been through this is invaluable. I didn't feel I was going through this alone."
Are you looking for a way to give back to the community?
Do you have expertise in public speaking or group facilitation, or do you know of someone who does? Do you need some volunteer experience? Hopewell recruits dedicated individuals to join our Speaker's Bureau. Volunteers with the Speaker's Bureau attend events in the community to deliver prevention outreach and man information display tables. Please also check out our main page for current volunteer opportunities. If you are interested or know of someone who would like more information regarding this opportunity, please contact us at 613-241-3428 or email us at volunteer@hopewell.ca. Thank you for your time and support.
