I agree with what has already been posted and would add that for those family doctors who seem unfamiliar with the standard monitoring protocol, consumers should be encouraged to give them the protocols (available from the treatment programs). Hopewell should request copies of the protocols from the Regional Treatment Centres at the Ottawa Hospital and CHEO and ask permission to share these with clients who in turn will share with their family physicians.
