Males and Eating Disorders

Men struggle with eating disorders too

It is not uncommon for boys and men to develop eating disorders. Research indicates approximately 5 -15 percent of eating disordered individuals coming to the attention of mental health professional are male. Most researchers agree that the symptoms  of eating disorders are more alike  than dissimilar in males and females and treatment  methods are equally effective in both genders.
